The urban project located in the central district of Gdansk is a result of a thorough analysis conducted as part of urban planning classes. The project aims to enhance the livability and functionality of the central region by developing a sustainable and vibrant urban environment.
The project includes several key components, such as improving the quality of public spaces, enhancing the accessibility and mobility of the area, and promoting sustainable development practices. The project also involves the preservation and enhancement of the historical and cultural heritage of the district. To ensure that the project meets the needs of the residents and neighbors, a comprehensive analysis was conducted. The analysis involved gathering feedback from residents and neighbors through surveys and public meetings. The feedback received was then incorporated into the project plan, ensuring that the project reflects the needs and aspirations of the local community.
The project's public space improvements include creating green spaces, upgrading pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, and enhancing public transportation connections. The project also includes the development of community spaces, such as public plazas and gathering places, to enhance social interactions and community engagement. To promote sustainable development, the project incorporates energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly practices. This includes the use of renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and the promotion of eco-friendly transportation options.
